Another idea,

Years ago, you had some Mustangs with a racing stripe on the side down low.

That may give you a different look and still follow the lines of the car.

The stripe was smaller that a regular racing stripe.

I could see a low silver stripe on the side giving a different personality and maybe a good look.

The stripe down the side looks good. I would go with the one that follows the natural crease of the door. I would also suggest that you try to get the color to be the same as the inside of the wheels (the medium gray) and maybe a thin highlight stripe the same color as the sliver on the wheels along the top and bottom of the big stripe (don't leave a gap: blue, sliver, gray, silver, blue). This would tie the stripe and wheels together and make the stripe look like it belongs there.

As I look at it some more, the stripe at the crease makes the whole thing look a tad bit higher off the ground because your eye sees the stripe and ignores the stuff below it. The low stripe draws your eyes down and makes it look low.

I wouldn't do it. It's a Jeep, not a Honda. Most Autozones, Advance Autos, etc, focus most of their aftermarket attention on the compact/import scene, so of course they're going to offer you the tackiest and cheapest of "aftermarket" equipment that they can. Stay away from it. Except for vehicle maintenance, nothing good comes from those stores. :) Just my $.02.
Pep Boys included....you cant spell CRAP without APC

You have a blue "Patriot". The obvious choice (IMHO) would be some red and white graphics of a patriotic nature.
