Yeah, I heard about Heckler's issues.. My Patriot's warranty will not be affected, so I don't think i'll have any trouble..

Also, Heckler did a lot of offroading and probably beat the crap out of it as well.. Mine will be staying on the street so I don't think ill have issues.

It has to be the stupidest console I've ever seen on a vehicle... It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to turn the heat on and not the defrost. Apparently everything is run by a touch screen computer. If I owned it I would def have a warranty because if that computer were to break.. Your SOL big time..

Lol

technology be cray...and scary. I am still learning new things about my 1st gen uconnect in my pat haha.

congrats on the lift man! cant wait for pics!

how much are they charging for the install? dealer install is the route I would go for sure (warranty + I dont have a garage/driveway/jack).

They get a discount on the parts through RRO so I had them supply the parts.

I had to call around to several dealerships and found one that agreed to do it for a reasonable amount of around $850 bucks. That includes the lift, installation and alignment. The parts are around $400 bucks before tax, and the alignment alone is around $100.00 so they are charging around $350 for the labor. I was told it would take them around 5 hours to install so thats 70 bucks an hour.

May seem high, but my warranty isn't voided and people that are doing it work on Jeeps all the tim.e

Thats actually less than I thought, not too bad. I think the piece of mind with the warranty is worth it, at least it would be for me.

I know I overpaid for my hitch/oil cooler/etc. but I want it done to factory specs by the dealer so I bit the bullet.

I know when people take their vehicles in for oil changes and inspections to my local CJDR dealership their vehicles are always taken to the Honda sister dealership right next door. Makes me wonder if theres actual CJDR tech's who do the maintenance work when requested or if some joe blow mechanic in Honda is tearing into your CJDR vehicle!

The ride has loosened up quite a bit since the install.. Gave it a good wash yesterday and measured the clearance. I'm up to 11'' clearance and 7.5" where the Nerf bars hang down.

Id recommend everyone getting this done whether you go coils or spacer..
