I was thinking about trying this again. The thing I hate though is that the dip is darker than the tires so it looks really strange.. If I was to do this again I think i would only pain the inside of the wheels and not the trim. Kind of like the other alloys that came on the Patriot. Any ideas???Stock Firestone Affinity with my newly painted stock 17s
I feel like you have to lay down really thick layers to get the right affect. I am only going to do two layers ontop of the charcoal gray to give it a granite/charcoal texture but keep the matte lookYeah, the metalizer was a giant rip off. Same with the clear coat. Theres 4 cans of each sitting in my garage. Garbage. Thats what I have to say to metalizer and clears.

Yeah, I have thought the same......I think it would give the Patriot a look, that i dont really think fits it's style...if you get my drift...lolI don't know but I'm tempted to use white PlastiDip on my steelies since my Wrangler is white lol I think that'd be a bit much though so I'm probably not gonna do it.
