Supposed to be ready for me today, but I have no way to pick it up (long drive and in one vehicle, hard to drive one to pick up another), and out of town tomorrow, so will get in on Monday. Hopefully we'll have a talk and they'll let me know what happened, what they did, etc, and I can let all of you know. Heck, I might even see if they want to trade for a 13, but no one around here has any FDII's, so we'll see,

Thank You Lee.

Good luck Dixie. Hopefully she's good as a 2013 Patriot.

The whole thing is just unbelievable. I would hope our dealers wouldn't need any intervention from the "Company."
I was told as a young Sailor growing up in a shipboard engineering plant...

"You get what you inspect, not what you expect."

Thank you for your efforts.

Just back from the dealer. Those guys must not like to talk. I wanted to know everything, they just sent me to the cashier. And all she wanted was my signature, in about 6 places on forms, but the wonderful thing, she wanted no money, and handed me my keys.

Damn does it feel good to be back in the Jeep!

I have the paperwork they gave me in the car, I'll scan it in and paste here one day, but the piles of papers they had stapled together for me to sign off on, like 4 stacks, probably have more detailed info than they gave to me.

So if you have any worries about the lifetime powertrain warranty, you can relax.

Glad to hear all the good news ITT! South Hills is my dealer and I know what you mean. I like Elm Grove, WV Jeep better than them and I trust them more. I caught South Hills lying to me one day. I marked my tires and after an oil change and tire rotation they said "oh yeah we rotated the tires" Momma didn't raise no dummy! So I let them know and told them to ACTUALLY ROTATE THEM! Not just on paper!! It's hard to find a good garage these days.

Can't wait to see the paperwork.....glad that they lifetime power train warranty is working I'm at 180,792 and I hope I never need it for something this serious....

The papers they gave me do not say a whole lot, but I'm guessing the stacks of papers they had me sign, but they kept, would say a lot more. I did scan in what they gave me to post here, soon.

Oh, and my check engine light came on on the way home, so need to call them today.

Hard to read I know, for some unknown reason you can only upload a PDF that is smaller than 19.5KB, with would be just a thumbnail, maybe, so changed it to JPG, and still hard to read. If anyone wants it better, PM me and I can e-mail it to you.

Cylinder number 4 rod locked up and broke.
So you threw a rod at just about 104,000 miles. Seems atypical. Can't help but wonder why and want more answers from the dealer...

Feels like it was my car. :D

Hopefully you get the check engine light sorted and be done with it.
