Dang that's a tight fit but it looks good! How much a piece were they? I'm shoppin for 225/70/16's but if those don't rub 235's are also an option IMO :D

Based off the pic w/ the front bumper it doesn't have tow hooks so either a FDI or 2WD.

Damn that's expensive as hell for me! But then again I am looking for 5 tires lol come February I'm going to try to get 5 225/70/R16's Hankook Dynapro ATM's they have an aggressive side wall and a nice offroad tread. Plus they're cheap! Only $125 a piece on DiscountTireDirect.com

true

yeah they were NOT CHEAP but my reasoning was i have been wanting BFG Muds since i was 16 on my first truck but couldnt afford them now and this is the first time i had a "suv" that could fit them.( ive had several cars but no truck or suv) im am 24 now so its a "dream come true" also i am in the military and wanted a Made in the USA brand tire... it just occured to me that i need a spare tire too (crap) im going to pray i dont need one for a while... But yes i am not going to spend that much again...it was a splurg hahahaha ill prob go with General or Cooper next...

Yea I would love to run those tires but I can't see myself splurging that much lmao splurging for me would be choosing the 130 some dollar tires as opposed to the $124 Cooper Discoverer AT2's or to the $125 Hankook Dynapro ATM's lol

Oh and ps ... 20 y/o Airman 1st Class here ;)

oh well thanks for your service..... Has anybody ran 245/70/16 yet...????
Thanks! Same to you. And if your current set up doesn't rub except for in reverse at full lock then I would fudge with it. As they say; if it ain't broke don't fix it.

*edit; oh and I'm only going to 225/70/R16's so I know for sure that I won't have rubbing lol playing it safe man!

There is no FDIII lol

The trail rated models are the FDII's because they have lower gearing for 4x4 in L and it has skid plates, transmission fluid cooler, tow hooks, slightly taller suspension, and the 2.4L

FDI is just the normal 2wd version but 4wd...no skid plates, tow hooks, etc

We just installed 17" Drag DR-35 wheels with Cooper CS4 Touring tires (215/60-17). Like 'em a LOT! Talked to Pat at Discount Tire Direct, and got a great deal, plus the installers at America's Tire were very friendly and helpful.

Those look like 16" Cragar Soft 8's to me and I cant tell what size tires or what brand but they look pretty skinny so maybe 215/75/R16's or 225/70/R16's? Hard to see it on my work computer cause it doesnt wanna cooperate with PB and zoom into the pic.
