HI i bought a 2009 jeep patriot limited 4x4 Love it but the other day water was pouring out of my dome light and today when i got in the carpet is wet is there any recalls in canada for this problem the dealer just blew me off and said it was because i had snow on my roof overnight?? Please help I am so upset as I have only had my jeep since oct please help.

Does it have a sunroof? If so your drains are more than likely clogged or come apart. If no sunroof I think I read where the roof rails can leak. Sounds like the infamous sunroof leak issue however.
Dealer is aware of the sunroof leak issue. They are full of it saying it is just because of snow on the roof. They just don't want to deal with it period or fix it on their dime if they sold the vehicle to you.

Yes I do have a sunroof, Water was pouring out of my map light when I came to a stop, they asked if the headliner was stained it is not, and said that if the headliner was not stained it could not have come from the dome light but the dome light was full of water and I saw it happen. Any advice or how can I contact the manufacturer? Thank you

I'd print out a few of the sunroof leak threads and take them in to the dealer. There is also a dealer leak detection guide written just for the patriot, so Jeep is well aware of water leak issues on these things. Just search for water leak or sunroof drains and you'll find them.

and may be mention the dealer's name may end up online also if he refuses to fix it
