17 k so far. Probably 22 k by the end of the year (I like in CA and my family lives in ID and TX, the holiday traveling is both expensive and far)

My jeep was delivered 08/31/2011 3400 I left the city to go 50 miles south of where I live just once and just a few miles round trip from work to home. Time for a road trip!

Bought it with 23 miles on it in May, 2009. December, 2011 I'm at 39K and change - no maintenance other than oil changes and tire rotations...love it.

Bought my 2011 on August 22nd and just turned 3000 yesterday( December 12 ). I looked shortly before getting home to see what the mileage was actually and it was at 3013 so I am probably 3015 or so.

3015 / 3.5 months = 861.5 miles p/month. That is up a little from the 697 miles p/month I averaged with the previous vehicle( 08 Dodge Ram over 3 years ). Even that figure is high though as it takes into account the year I had it that I drove so much doing new home finish carpentry plus a road trip I took with it to NY waterfowl hunting shortly after buying it. I put a LOT of miles on during that 1st year or so. Got sick though in 09 and don't work anymore. With gas prices once again so high I started only driving the truck when absolutely needed. Maybe 200-300 miles tops a month.

I actually have driven a bit more since buying the Patriot though. It more than doubles the MPG I got with the truck so I don't feel like I am being held hostage by the cost of fuel. It still bugs me bad what gas costs( IMO it is way too high = greed not supply vs. demand )and I still limit myself because of it( I refuse to line their greedy pockets any more than I have to )but at least I can get out and do some stuff and have a life now without such a financial guilt hit.

I imagine I will keep the Patriot somewhere in the 3-4 year range and I expect I will do probably 600 miles a month or so on average. If you figure 25,000 miles over 42 months it = 595 miles average. That will probably be the average when all is said and done. At the most. It could be a lot less if my physical condition worsens and I do less getting out? I drive a LOT more during the winter months for waterfowl hunting. Most of my miles will come there now. No daily commute to work anymore and in the summer heat I physically can't be out in it anymore so I do very little summer activity and thus little if any driving. The end result is probably 600 miles a month and probably less.

Low miles for sure. Some people here will do as many miles, or more, in a year as I will do in the entire time I will own the vehicle( 3-4 years ).

I'm at 204,000 miles now. I'm down to 1,000 miles a month from 1,000 a week for work related driving, so it's not adding up as fast as it used to.

I just put on my second set of tires. I went about 110,000 miles on a set of coopers. I just did the front pads and disks for the first time. I replaced another left front control arm and front wheel bearings on both sides. The dealer said they were rust impacted.

She's still running smooth and now she's rolling and stopping smoothly again, too. Ready for the next 100,000.

I used to drive like that -- 1000 miles a week. Went through cars like water. About 1/2 that now.

I'm with you on the brakes. I'm still on my original pads & rotors at 85,000 miles.

Your luck with tires amazes me. My original Goodyear LS2s were shot by 50,000. My snows are on their second season (Generals) and I got some Wild Country (Multi-mile/Generic) for summer which were wearing down a little faster than I'd hoped before I put the snows on for winter.
