Charcoal Wheels?

Planning on ordering a 2012 Patriot Limited, but not thrilled about the wheel options available. However, I have always really liked the look of those five spoke wheels with the charcoal inlay, see attached for a picture of the wheel I’m referring to and a quick Photoshop of them on a 2012 in Mineral Gray.

Could anyone tell me what years these charcoal wheels were available on? I’d like to see if my dealer can order them for me and ideally just swap the tires - if they’re the same size that is.

Also, if anyone has purchased them do you have a part number?

These are the OEM 17" mag from a '09 Patriot (I have them on currently). Not sure for other years, but I think they were the same for '07 and '08.

Thats the rim I had on my 2009 Sport. It was part of the factory Tire and Wheel group. It's a 17 inch aluminum rim. Ill bet you can find someone that is willing to trade four of them for the 4 aluminum rims from the 2012. The dealer you order from should be able to hook you up, too. Just ask for the 2009 rims and trade them for the 2012 ones brand new.
Another option is to paint the spoke centers of the 2012 rims. I did this to my 2011 and it came out looking pretty good.

The wheels on the 2010 appear to be similar but the sales brochure doesn’t say anything about them being painted (as it does in the 2009 brochure).

Are the 2009/2010 wheels identical with the only difference being the painted charcoal inlays on the 2009 wheels? Hard to tell from pictures (attached).

they were also an available option on the 08 (what I have). check out Rock auto, they have reconditioned wheels in silver, gray and black for 134 each.

The 08, 09 and 10 wheels were identical. A guy at work has an 08, I had an 09 and my roommate had a 10. Wheels were exactly the same as far as I can tell.

There are definitely different shades though. Mine are a brighter silver color then my friends 2010. Her Patriot is black and the wheels are a darker grey then mine.

Mine are the dark charcoal but from the factory they were the same style wheel but all silver. I had the dealer swap them with another pat on the lot (2009 i think) because I didn't like the all silver wheels with the white.

There are definitely a couple different shades, although that is hard to verify. I think the dealer would have a hard time finding the right shade. They may even have the same part number. These tires are frequently for sale on this website. You could also check local craigslist
