For those who did not install your lift kit your self and had a garage do it how much did you pay for install????????????
I didn't have a shop do it, but if I did I would expect a bill rate of 50-80 an hour and no more than 1.5 hrs billed. Along with the cost of a four wheel alignment. For those who did not install your lift kit your self and had a garage do it how much did you pay for install????????????
do you have an estimate of how much this would be in USD? Also is it possible to do it myself? With Stus Coils you will need an Alignment and Adjustable Camber Bolts.
so do you at least need an alignment? im wondering if that can be done by myself.I'm sure Earthworm meant to say with RRO lift you will need camber bolts and an alignment. With Stu coils you don't need any extra parts.
I don't think you can do an alignment by yourself unless you work in an alignment shop. I don't know how much it cost these days but I'd rather have it done by professionals.so do you at least need an alignment? im wondering if that can be done by myself.
Thats a pretty good price for a lift kit...Stu just sent me a quote of 550AUD and thats with shipping but if its 500AUD and that includes shipping, that comes out to 514.60 USD. Thats a damn good price. As for where to get them, go to this website and request a quote. http://www.murchisonproducts.com.au/crdstu-suspension.php
I would also like to know the answer to this too. If you find out can you PM me if I dont check back? How much of a mechanic would you have to be to do Stucoils yourself? Has anyone done them themselves, if so, what tools are necessary?
so when installing these, do you have to compress the spring, put it in place then uncompress it? Also, what is a good compressor to get? I seen them range from 25-700 USD.theres a thread somewhere that someone did it, the main thing you will need a spring compressor, but you will still need to do a wheel alignment. its not that hard to do, just time consuming.
