picked what up?

Finally got my 2010 riot FDII lifted. i brought it to my local offroad shop and told them that i was going to order the RRO but then they offered me a lower price for everything so i don't know exactly what brand or what not i have but i do know it's taller now

Don't you remember you were waiting for the RRO because it was on Backorder. Maybe you are the only Patriot Owner with a one and only Secret Custom Kit that they sold to you for an unbelieveable lower price than the RRO Kit. I doubt it. Maybe the JC Whitney coil inserts? You just paid them and took off, there's RRO and Stus Coils and you don't know what you have? Like I said there must be a new Secret Kit that you only know about. Please give us some info, maybe other Members may be interested.

i know it's a spacer lift like the RRO but i'm not sure what company or anything. I'll give the shop a call monday and try to find out where they got it from and get back to everyone

maybe something custom made.

Ok it's now Thursday and still no word.... Anxious to hear what's goin on.

I've got a friend who owns an alignment shop and it was cold and rainy and I was feeling lazy so I just turned it all over to him.

He charged me about 3 hours labor plus an alignment.

Interesting point here though. He said that the new upper control arms have the grease fitting placed in such a way that there is no way to add grease to the upper joint without removing the control arm. He greased the joint very well and installed it, but I may have to plan on lifting the Jeep up to remove and regrease the fitting every couple of years. Luckily, that grease fitting only lubricates a rubber bushing and the joint doesn't move much.

w00t w00t! got my RRO lift on!
I called around a few shops in L.A., ended up doing it for $470 including the alignment. Probably not the cheapest possible but cheaper than all the other estimates.
With my 225/65R17 Geolandar A/T-S I've got about 11.5" of clearance. Much nicer, and now I can see over more cars!

At last! I received my CRDSTU 2 weeks ago but hadn't time to install, fortunately a friend did it for me yesterday, I've been using the coils for 2 days and they feel awesome, my rapid measures gave me about 11,2" of clearance, you can really feel the new, stronger suspension going over bumps. Lame that my continental all-crap tires don't do justice to the lift, hopefully will be upgrading to cooper discoverer atr 235/65/17 in a few days

these are the pics of the new pat:

Here's mine. Lift with new Cooper tires (Discoverer - 235/60R17)
looks great!
i am currently running 235/55/17 (that have same diameter with oem 215/60/17 we get here in europe) on a CRDSTU lift .
i plan on getting 235/60/17 next.
is there any rubbing?

soooo how many people have switch from RRO to STU and from STU to RRO, are you liking the change? want to go back????

I only ask because I am going to lift my patty within the next few weeks, i am swaying towards STU's coils...but i am not 100% sure yet.
