Is it diesel or petrol? and how u find space to put a turbo in it? how much pound boost do you have it on?

Its the normal 2.4l, and i am using the caliber srt4 turbo and manifold it fitted perfectly without inventing too much. And i am looking into putting 4-6psi since its a 10.5:1 engine.
Nice i would like to see more photos when its finshed and a video if you dyno it.. I was thinking the other day it would be nice if i seen a patriot with a turbo in it no one would suspect it.. nice touch

A top mount is probably not going to do you many favors.

Have you looked at an air to water setup or maybe even just meth injection, since you're only going to run 4-6 (probably 8 at the most).

I'm new and just getting to know my way around the Patriots, but come from subarus and I'm always thinking about how to put a turbo on something.

The Mazdaspeed 3 uses a top mount intercooler and those things go like stink! Of course they also have under hood plumbing to route the cold air down through it, but still.

nice!!!
Get us a parts list!

On another note you might be able to stuff a Side Mount intercooler where the original air box used to reside. Like the one's found in the older Ford Probe's or Mitsubishi Talon's.

what do you mean by not having to invent too much? what was needed to be done to get it to fit? Did you use the Patriot or the Caliber SRT4 manifold gasket?

Correct, but MS3s and Subarus (my world) have hood scoops to direct air across the core to transfer the heat. Patriots have no such thing, so he'll have to come up with something that gets a core out front where the air is lke an A/W or front mount A/A.

That exactly what I was thinking. There is definately plenty of room under the patriots hood for a top mount, but he will need to make some sort of duct to direct the air flow thru it.

I would just get the extra piping, and get a front mount. Theres plenty of room between the bumper and condenser. Pipe routing would be interesting tho.

If only I had the time/money...
