So I have a little project I'd like to do and I was wondering if anyone knows of some sort of chrome paint or at least gives the closest look to chrome you have found. I have bought some "chrome" spraypaints that fall short and give the galvanized look. Used the search bar and didn't find much. Any suggestions would be awesome, Thanks in advance

An autobody friend once told me that if anyone invented a true mirror-look chrome spray paint, they'd become a millionaire very fast, 'cause there just ain't no such thing.

Ive been wanting to chrome the mounts for my roof rails since i got the Riot. I think it would look awesome and be a great compliment to the rest of the car, so if you figure it out, let me know. I dont even know where to find a shop that can do it around here or Id just get them dipped, along with the fuel door.

Yeah, as far as getting something professionally done or pricing, I have no idea where to even start. Although I found another solution that would bypass the painting all together. Found a part on ebay.

I do chrome powder coating, not quite like dipping but next best thing to it and very cost effective. Sorry for the small pics.

Very nice Koolkat! I like work like that, speaks volume about a persons character and dedication. As far as paints go....the best thing you may be able to find or do is spray a primer first, wet sand, black coat second, wet sand, very bright metallic silver, clear. Good luck!!

Thank you, I like powder coating things in crazy colors or chrome. I usually get customers that usually just want black. With the black wheel craze going on I get more business with people wanting there wheels black, including myself.
