Hello everyone.

Been an owner for a little over a year of my 2015 Jeep Patriot. Quite an upgrade (sort of) from my Grand Cherokee I had.

Mine is my daily driver and I also use it for responses with my fire department.

My Jeep is pretty basic. It’s manual windows and locks but it gets the job done.

Welcome! Basic is what Jeeps are supposed to be about. We've had 2 Patriots, both with manual windows and locks, one with a manual tranny.

I'm amused that you consider a Patriot an upgrade from a GC. I presume you went from old to new?

It is kind of ironic. But yes, my GC was a 99 and was falling apart and had some electrical problems so I decided it was time to put it to rest. I do miss the V6 though. I absolutely hate the 2.4 my Patriot has.

Yes, but it will strengthen your patience coefficient, and build character....There's probably several million miles on this forum on the 2.4, and we've all probably downsized from a more powerful rig...but life goes on...welcome to the forum--if you find something wrong with your vehicle--the answer will be here!

And precious few problems with the 2.4. Never had a problem with mine. :smiley_thumbs_up:
