Another successful camping trip

We took the Pat up into the high country this weekend. She performed admirably. Pulling a small trailer with our camping gear up to a nice lake at about 7400ft elevation. At 65mph with the trailer, up the steep grades, the RPM's jumped up to 4000-4500, but not too bad.


At the top of the 'rim'. About a 2000 ft drop to below

Thanks. It was great to have a few days of relaxation.

Compared to 115°F at home here in the desert, the 75° with cool breezes was a welcome break.

nice pics! i'm just curious...how many miles did you get per tank with that trailer?

Both ways was 65mph for the most part.
On the way up, going from 1000ft to 7500ft, I got about 18mpg.
On the way back down, I got about 23mpg.

For 3/4 of the trip, the AC was on too.
