I was tired of sitting so low in the passenger seat so I made an adjustment that worked out pretty nicely. I removed the seat and inserted a large washer and a 1/2 inch spacer under each corner of the seat mount and re-installed the seat. You cannot increase the height of the seat more than 3/4 inch because the lenght of the factory bolts limit you.

Not in my Patriot but in my old Cherokee I just got a nice wedge pillow. Installed it in about 2 seconds. OK, I'm a cheap date I realize. That Cherokee is rusting away in a junkyard somewhere, but my cat is still using the pillow.
