What's up everyone!

So I have a small issue that hoping someone can help me clear up.

I have a '15 patriot and installed h13 hids now the problem is typical. They flicker.

I've installed the cancellers but they flicker.

I've installed a relay but they flicker.

And I've installed all together relay and cancellers but they still flicker.

This seems to happen only with the car on but when I unlock it doesn't. Even if I leave them on for 10 min it doesn't happen.

Turn the car on and within 2-3 min they start flickering.

Anyone have any tips or solutions?

Thanks

Check your grounds.

You are probably going to need an actual resistor. From what I understand, the only way on Chrysler vehicles is to trick the computer by using a resistor, making the computer think that there is just a traditional bulb in.

The hell is a "canceler"? :D

My kit came with a power relay which injects additional power to the ballasts. Never installed them on the Jeep without it however they have been going fine for well over a year now without issue. I have only seen/witnessed HID's flicker due to a bad ground, once the grounds were recrimmped and new bolts used with a fresh metal to metal ground the flicker stayed away forever.

That don't look like a relay, a relay is directly grounded to the frame and directly wired to the battery or a power source.
Resistors as in the second picture are not needed with HID's, LED's yes but not HID's.

Yea thats a relay and the only thing I have installed on my Xentech kit.

Email the seller of the HID's - they know their product better than you do.

This damn canbus system does weird things to headlights.. I gave up on them after my 05 magnum.. like u I tried everything. . I've heard some people have no issues and then others with the same setup have nothing but problems. . On my magnum they lasted almost 2 years then after that I tried everything and could not get them to work correctly again. .
