I you are having issues with LED Bulbs Using decoders/harnesses from e-bay this is how I fixed it (at least on my 2015 PAT I think earlier models do not have this issue)
If you are using something like this you might encounter a similar issue: the turn signals/blinkers do not work (not blinking) when the parking lights are on, they just stay on.
After noticing I decided to check the harness and try to figure things out and this is what I found:
1) The wires in the male plug (the one that goes into the factory socket) were completely wrong, apparently the guy who made these thinks that there is only 1 kind of 3157 socket: the CK type, the Patriot uses 3157 standard.
2) There are 3 ceramic load resistors inside the little box and everything was wired to the load resistors instead of the turn signal wires
After that I decided to make my own harness to make things work, Luckily I was able to reuse the female plugs and rewire them (if they used resin you are out of luck) and the 3157 sockets from the harnesses. You have 3 wires: Ground (splits in two in the plug) parking lights and turn signal. The ground wires have to be in front of each other on the female plug, for the other two the easiest way is to connect the plug and using a voltmeter determine which one is which
After reconnecting everything using a load resistor that I had lying around everything worked perfectly but the main issue was the load resistor itself I couldn't leave it like that because it can burn the wires or the bumper, so after a few hours I found these from VLEDS (google VLEDS) they are a little bit pricey ($25.90 for two w/shipping) but they also sell the connector needed and double sided tape to install them.
Just connect the load resistor in parallel with the turn signal wires (both ends in my case) and the middle wire connects to the socket's middle wire, and you can place the resistor right in front of the bumper (under the taillight) there is a flat surface on the sheet metal where it fits perfectly.
Test the bulbs and after that just make sure that none of the wires are hanging close to the load resistor, put back the taillight and you are done!
Sorry if it was too long and about the pictures, let me know if something isn't clear
