My sister's 08 Patriot recently developed a problem where the 4WD, traction control, ABS, and ESP lights are all illuminated on the dashboard, and it's become tricky to switch between 2 and 4 wheel drive. Also, sometimes the high beams stay on even after switching to low beam.

anyone know what the issue might be?

**Note late this fall the underside was pressure washed to be oil sprayed.

thanks

Hey Redrider1,

I am sorry to hear about your sister’s Patriot. Unfortunately, I could not find any service bulletins related to her vehicle. I would advise her to have the vehicle formally diagnosed at a certified FCA dealership. If you have any further questions, please contact me via private message.

Hi Redrider1,
Same thing happened to me, only the engine also died, with Radio Lock as well.
Just drove through one heck of a storm, visibility +- 20 - 30 M.
Heck of a wind and a huge rainfall.
Anyone have any takes on this one ?
Was told to suspect the sensors at the wheels ?
Any way one can disable all the bells and whistles and get engine to start ??
Cannot even crank it.
Appreciate any feedback.
Kind regards,
Richard

Hi all,
On Monday found two fuses blown, replace and Engine started, then took on a rough stretch of road, Roadworks scenario, and all the Lights went out.
Looks like sensors got fatigued in the storm, and eventually started working again. Radio also back to normal.
Cheers,
