Oh no. Not again. It's The4WDPatriot talking about a lift, again. What is this? Like the 78907534th time? He won't actually get one, he never does. All he does is DM a bunch of members, ask stupid questions, then disappear again. All that happens is that he talks a big game and then "something" always happens to where he can't get one. Three years and nothing. He's never going to get a lift. Does he even own a Patriot??

Above are probably some thoughts that ran through your minds when you read the title, "lift plans inside". lol, you've had your laugh, now lets get serious.

I am getting a lift. Yes, me, The4WDPatriot, Brandon, am getting a lift. I am placing the order tonight for the Rocky Road Outfitters lift, and if all goes well, I will have the lift installed by next week, anddddd wait for it, with plenty of pictures and documentation. I am beyond pumped that the circumstances for me to get a lift have finally came around.

But wait, there's more. Not only am I getting a lift, but also I am getting the Pro Comp 7032 16x8 wheels. On these wheels I will be mounting 225/75R16 Wrangler Duratracs.

I literally cannot believe I am finally posting this thread.

The excitement is real.

I am getting a lift.
and tires.
A lift.
And tires.
and rims.
Finally.

***Buttttt I do have a few questions just to be sure before I place my order.***
I am ordering the lift kit for RRO's website. I am ordering the Pro Comp 7032's from AutoAnything.com. I am ordering the 225/75R17 Duratracs from TireRack.com. Is there anything that I am forgetting or need? I think it has everything but I was wondering if I needed anything special to make my TPS sensors work in the new wheels! Also, can someone with these rims or who knows the answer chime in and let me know if these rims are a direct bolt on??

I am so excited about this build that has been in my head for so long to finally come to fruition. I have also included a poll just for craps and giggles. :D

Just to be sure, you are getting 225/75R16 tires? It would be unfortunate if your tires and wheels aren't the same size...

Haha thanks for looking out for me! It was a typo. I'll be sure to correct it in the original post. haha

Okay guys. I figured out the answers to all my questions andddd....

ALL PARTS HAVE JUST BEEN ORDERED

Yes. No more thinking. No more questions. Orders have been placed.

If all goes well I should have a Red version of Jdog's Jeep. Which should be flipping awesome.

Look for the install to drop Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

shoot, im just as excited haha. Been waiting to see a start to finish RRO lift tutorial!
I'm having a close friend/mechanical do the install. So, the pics may not be super detailed step by step, but I will try to get some!

Just to give a quick update, everything has came in, including the valve stems that were left out of my original order, that had to be shipped all the way from Cali. Except the most important part of my project, the freaking lift. It has been over a week and a half and RRO has yet to even ship the thing. I understand they are a small company and have been more than gracious in making aftermarket accessories from the Patriot, but getting the excuse for the past week and a half that they are, "about 4 days behind", isn't really acceptable to me. I thought that typically when someone is behind they actually try to get caught up. Imagine if you were late on everything and always just told your boss, "sorry, I'm four days behind". You would be fired. Not to bash RRO at all, I'm just a little disappointed at this point. Honestly, it is probably just my fault for being impatient and having my expectations set too high though.:doh:

Anyways, I hope to see them ship the lift out tomorrow so that I can have everything installed before next week. :D

The lift shipped today!!

I would also like to go ahead and retract anything I said previously that could be taken as negative towards RRO. Turns out they tried to contact me back on October 8th to inform me that the order was packed and ready to ship but that my card had been declined (the card was stolen and canceled right after I placed the order). So, it was just me not checking the voice mail that caused the delay. It was my fault, not their's. They even ended up upgrading me from ground to 3 day shipping. RRO was a pleasure to deal with, despite my stupidity. I'd recommend buying from them.

That being said, lift should come in Tuesday. I can't wait. :pepper:

Lol, happy birthday to me when a friend in Tennessee gets his lift on!!! You coming to the meet in Virginia? April 2016, Cove Campground seems to be the tentative date/location.
