Me thinks the panel inside the wheel well removed will gain me access to the bulb. I can touch it from the engine compartment but will never get two hands in there or on it. Maybe its not such a big deal to do, it is what it is. Am I on the right track to replace this bulb.

You need to peel the wheel well liner back in order to access the front parking bulbs. This is why I put LED's in place so I never have to worry about replacing them again.

Exactly what Croat said.
Use a regular screwdriver and needlenose pliers to remove punch tabs. You may need a 7mm socket to loosen screws from under th bumper. Remove inner wheel well liner. Reach in, and pull the bulb out. Replace with leds with resistors, and never worry about em again.

They do but they are normally inferior LED's that cost 10 times more than you fine online. Not to mention they don't sell the required resistors so that your blinkers do not hyperflash.

Figure out what bulb you need, if its a 2014 i can get you a bulb guide when i get home or just search Croats threads. Once you know the bulb size use Ebay, search led (bulb size), make sure you get an amber or yellow color, then search 50w 6ohm load resistors. You need one resistor for each turn signal. You can replace all four turn signals with 4 bulbs 4 resistors less than $20.00, and in about 1 hour of time

This is where looking at it with a different pair of eyes helps sometimes.... I was changing my bulb through the wheel well and having a difficult time. My brother says why don't you reach in down from an angle from under the hood. And would you look at that he popped out the bulb on the driver side in a minute. Real easy to reach from there.

AutoZone sells $0.75 eBay leds for $20.00! Go direct, buy better, and save.
