My ex wants to buy a 2015 Jeep Patriot Sport. However, she is short and sits too low in the drivers seat. Since the seat does not adjust up or down and she does not want to pay the few thousand dollars extra just to get a model with a seat that adjusts up or down, my thought was to buy the Sport and then later buy a manual six-way drivers seat to replace the one in the sport that she is looking at.
I know it's not the cheapest option but my question is: Is this even feasible? I am assuming that the rails that the seat attaches to are exactly the same in all Patriot models for a manual seat and that swapping seats should be no problem. Am I correct?
