I've looked at 6 different models now and none list the dimension specs, Pioneer for sure does not list it for any of their stereos. They don't offer a JVC model, which model do you have?

Edit: Crutchfield lists this as a compatible model and on their website they confirm its 100mm (4") meaning it would not fit!

Yea I emailed Crutchfield with a WTF are you listing 100mm 4" true double DIN models for my Jeep!

No sir, my stock 2014 Radio is 3.75" tall at the face and the radio bezel opening is exactly the same. When I am at home I can take a tape measure and snap a pic for you ;) Also the replacement navi unit is 4" both the chassis and the face.

I think they changed in 2012 possibly to the smaller head unit?

Here is what Crutchfield says:

Unfortunately, we do not have any DIN and a half units. I am not aware of any currently being made. I wish I had better news. I will pass this information along to our research team.

Thanks for the email. I look forward to hearing from you.

Found this by pure chance... Not as a suggestion but I mention it for the comment it makes referring to the GM/Chrysler "Special Fit". At any rate, Pioneer does have a 1.5 DIN head unit.

Yea he emailed back saying that was correct, had to remind him at those dimensions it would fit in the palm of my hand :D Even using inches or centimeters it would be giant .... told him to not use a Chinese tape measure when confirming the measurements ;)

So all of those eBay links confirmed they are double dins.

Back to the drawing board unless I want to pay for those expensive units.
Anyone else have any luck?

Its the same one on eBay for $500 I linked it looks but only a few bucks cheaper. How is there not some android based 1.5 DIN generic system out there! I don't want a windowsCE OS nav system :(
