Sorry you are not the first but 3 years behind :)

It seems that is the only item that did not make it onto the production model. I think it is kind of big and clunky, myself. I can easily see it as the optional "trail rated" cargo rack. Obviously the tooling exists to make these.......so why don't they?

And there's a "fuel" door on both sides! Looks like the driver's side is electric and passenger is gas...

That roof rack does look great on the PAT .. however, even if I could get it.. not sure how would feel about drilling more holes (and leaving holes for that matter) in the pat though. I use my roof rack alot .. probably go over the recommended weight all the time. To me it feels like could probably rip my roof rack off with my bare hands. The PAT is a bit of a dichotomy .. being super light and fuel efficient and it's owners wanting to treat it like a Humvee .. of which I am very guilty.

Now, this is a blast from the past...
I believe Patriot designers made those wonderful roof racks to add an illusion of height to the vehicle. The reason that those racks didn't make it to the production (and they will never make it) is obvious; the aerodynamic sound of air through them should be enough to wake the dead...not to mention MPG.

BUT I STILL WANT THEM ON MY PAT!!!

That Ev Pat, does it have heated mirrors???????:D

I want those roof racks and I want them badly too!!!!! They are wonderful and give another beautiness at the patriot. I want them on my patriot's roof now

I think we are all missing one of the biggest changes to it...the front end! I absolutely love the new lower bumper on that thing. It makes it look much sportier, and it also looks to be much higher. This might be nice for the off-road crowd.

If you look closely to the roof rails you will notice that the mounting points are at the same location as the production model.
If there would be someone out the who could build this custom roofrack it should be possible to mount it as stock replacement. The roofrack front part could be glued on the roof because it would be eye candy only.
So there would be no need to drill more holes into the roof.
