If I feel like dumping 8k and going awd I'm going to find a wrx or sti donor car and start cutting and mating things up.
that would be interesting... very do-able though. just some custom axles for the front, custom driveshaft, and probably an aftermarket ECU would make things easier than trying to mesh an oem to our interior electronics. then again, you've got a nearly full manual interior. are your door locks even auto? I guess the hardest thing to do would be getting a gauge cluster fitted. screw srt swap, sti swap sounds much more fun. Then you grab TWO turbo's, one small for instant boost, and one big for mucho boost. all the fun with no lag! same thing BMW has done with their diesel m5 ('cept they used 3 turbo's)

Can you tell I'm an old school hot rodder with those suggestions, but seriously, you are tall, I'm 6'2, 325lbs, aaaand it's a little hard getting in for me, enough legroom inside, just a bit hard to get in. However, if you think about it, instead of 4 small doors, weld the rear doors shut, lengthen the front doors, change the front seats to swivels, or seats that fold forward, so your passengers can still use the rear seats. The rear doors could be shortened and made to be a suicide open, so the rear seats are more accessible.
