I'm keeping the patriot, and my build is going to get stupid crazy. Stay tuned.

Then turbo!Transplant a Cherokee v6 and 9 speed!
it's a good thing these aren't SUV'sfirst of all i'm happy you're not leaving.
i hate lowered suv's just because an suv should be an suv ,not as low as a normal car.
anyway,i really like yours,because i think it's a flagship.
to me it'sthe pat at the other extremity.
some try to lift as high as they can,but you hammered it as low as it can go.
question of taste, but you just got to admire the art.
love your wheels and your headlights.
they would never fit on a lifted pat imo,but on yours they are awesome an make it a killer headturner.
good to have you with us!
on the seats,i'd go for recaro's.
i bet they'd fit great.
best of luck improving the marvel you've got!
My Wisconsin registration used to say truck and my Michigan registration says station wagon:icon_rolleyes:?it's a good thing these aren't SUV's![]()
I've noticed that. It's hardly ever just "Jeep" We're our own damn class of vehicle.I dont think many places have accepted CUV, or Crossover as an official vehicle class. It is really. basically any van (dodge journey?)/suv built off a car platform is a crossover. Even Honda named their crossover the Honda Crosstour lol It is funny when I look up parts and the patriot is under Jeep Truck
I agree with goguadi, great to hear your keeping the Pat, now for special mods...air bags?, hydraulics?, bigger tires, and wheels?, chopped top?, channeled body?,(this might be kind of hard, no frame), blower out the hood?, hood scoop?, candy/metallic paint?, dingle balls around the front window?, Mexican blanket seat covers?, wide whites?, pin striping?,....the list goes onfirst of all i'm happy you're not leaving.

How tall are you that you had trouble fitting in the patriot? I am pretty tall and I can fit in it and my brothers are even taller and they still do fine.
When I tell people I drive a slammed jeep I get laughed at, I've even been slapped one.Happy days your an inspiration to be different with a SUV , people look at me as though I'm nuts when I tell them I've lowered it and stuff in the mean time there driving around in something that's the same not different
Glad you going to carry on with the patriot look forward to seeing you creations..
Someone actually slapped you for saying you drive a slammed Jeep?? :wow:When I tell people I drive a slammed jeep I get laughed at, I've even been slapped one.
I'm still convinced that it shouldn't take much to weasel the 3.5L AWD drivetrain from a Dodge Avenger into a Patriot. And if you could manage that, you could certainly fit the 3.6L Pentastar FWD drivetrain from the latest iteration... The Pentastar has so many bolt-on goodies, and actual tuning support. How awesome would that be?If somehow the Cherokee drivetrain and V6 could be added that would be fantastic, Hell i'd even be happy with the 2.4L I4 and the Active Drive 2 system with the Low range, but i'll keep dreaming.
Don't want to thread crap, but totally, it was a similar AWD system, only thing was that there was no 4x4 lock control on it.I'm still convinced that it shouldn't take much to weasel the 3.5L AWD drivetrain from a Dodge Avenger into a Patriot. he's already 4x2, his exhaust it in the driveshaft tunnel. The only problem with a swap like that is the fact he would have to create or blend both wiring harnesses together. it's a huge pita, and a problem when the vehicle it's going in is your DD.not to mention expensive. these are slow, but they arent slow enough to dignify a $8K drivetrain swap. at that point he might as well buy a whole new vehicle with a better platform.Don't want to thread crap, but totally, it was a similar AWD system, only thing was that there was no 4x4 lock control on it.
