Drive along the highway, gotta be highway ...then all the sudden power down the rear windows.
Let me know if you hear a rumbling noise caused by air deflection of air..or change of air pressure...ITS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! IT HURTS YOUR EARS!!!!!!!!

Really?....wow...come to think of it, I have only had 1 other 4 door in my life, and it wasn't power windows, so I would have never rolled them down on my own. Come to think of it, I think they wouldn't roll down entirely (child proofed) which probably explains why I never heared it before.
On top of that, who really rolls down windows while driving now-a-days anyway. We usually turn on the A/C if we need air.

I roll down the windows all the time in warm weather. All 4 of them! I Only use air conditioning in very humid weather. I know what you mean about the noise. I've heard in my smaller cars, but not as bad as this. You get used to it. The first time I heard it in the Pat I thought I had a flat tire. Either roll down all 4 or use your air conditioner if it bugs you that much.

Wow..I really gotta read this manual...is there anything interesting in it?
JUST KIDDING...
Ive been selective what I have read...I think the last thing I researched using it was to see what the idiot light was on the dash..turned out tires were low on air.
Thanks

The obvious solution is there needs to be a 2 door Patriot! (I hate 4 door vehicles)

Yea its happened in all my cars ......My old Skoda Superb was the worst offender, I thought I was being attacked by an Apache' anti-tank chopper!!

X2 on the Apache helicopter! 01 Buick Regal was the worst I've ever heard. If you crack a front window just a tiny bit it will go away. I solved this issue by not having power windows, therefore the rear ones never open:)
