My 2008 Patriot 3 years warranty Bumper to bumper will be expired soon. I get quote from a company called 'ENSURALL CANADA':

Essential Warranty Coverage ($0 Deductible):
7yr/200,000km $2349
6yr/185,000km $2199
5yr/165,000km $2049
4yer/150,000km $1899
3yr/125,000 $1749

Full Loaded Warranty Coverage ($0 Deductible):
7yr/200,000km $2649
6yr/185,000km $2479
5yr/165,000km $2309
4yer/150,000km $2134
3yr/125,000 $1962

Full coverage including Essential coverage + following items:
- Emissions
- Airbags
- CD/DVD entertainment

And if I decide to go, they off two promotion, I can only pick one of them:
- $300 off
- $Pay full and get one more year extended. So, it means 6 yr price can cover 7 years.

Does this third party warranty worth to buy for Jeep Patriot 2008?

Hi, Personally I do not trust 3rd party warranty companies. I've never had one myself but based on other people's experience its a "no no". I would be more inclined to invest my $2,500-$3,000 in a seperate bank account to absorb high repair bill(if it happened). If I'm lucky and have no major repair, the money is mine.

Good advice so far. And air bags should be covered by your insurance if they deploy in an accident. If it were me, I'd take that money and put it down with a trade for an 11 model. The 3yr 36K warranty on mine was up at 1.5 years due to mileage. Should go over 70K this weekend, and not yet 3 yrs old.

Those prices sound ridiculous. I purchased the extended warranty through Chrysler. I have 10 yr or 100,000 miles with a $100 deductible. I purchased it for 1800 and financed it for free for 12 months. If I were you I'd be very very careful buying from some of those 3rd party companies. I know recently in the US there have been companies offering warranties to older cars. They were scamming people so the ended up getting sued and losing.

Good luck and I hope you find something good.
