This morning while chipping my patriot out of its ice glaze, I noticed the weatherstripping at the bottom of the windsheild seems to be loose. I couldnt really get too good of a look due to the sheet of ice built over the entire car, but it seems that this an external rubber strip that sits on top of the windshield only (it doesnt continue around the edge of the glass at all). Has anyone else had this problem? And what product would anyone reccomend for me to seal this strip back on?

Had the exact same problem! Only we noticed ours when we were going through the car wash. When we hit the dryers at the end this long black thing started flopping in front of us flapping the windshield. I thought it was a wiper blade that came loose. Luckily the wipers barely held it from flying off completely. When I got home I noticed that it was the strip you are referring to. I used crazy glue to put mine back on. I laid it on the windshield directly above where it should go so I could line it up on each end. Then I put a drop (not too much, you don't want alot of over-spill when you put the strip back on) every inch or two. I started on one end, put a drop or small bead and placed that section in place. Then I repeated that from one side of the windshield to the other. That was almost a year ago and we've had all 4 seasons worth of weather conditions and multiple car washes without any issues. Hope this helps.

P.S. Be careful not to get the glue on your fingers when doing this, it makes things a little more difficult :p
