Looks sharp i love the pen striping. After seeing this i think i should lower my wife's compass.

I really like the billet grille and I'm gonna order one for my Compass soon.

Obviously, lowered SUV is not my cup of tea. I do prefer lift over drop!

But your ride is very clean built! How is the ride quality; better or worse than factory?

How's the slammed life?
How's the ride compared to your previous lowering?
What are the sizings on your tires?
Also, what rim size and offset are you running on those 20"s?

I love your ride, and I can't wait to join you in the slammed life but it won't be for awhile.

Loving it, the coil overs have 30 way dampening settings, its not as comfortable as before, but i dont mind, i love the way it looks now and it handles like a go cart now too,
im not 100% sure what tyres im running, or the offset, i know there 8.5-inch wide

I am actually not a big fan of the grille but thats just me. The rest of the Pat looks so good and spent so much time and money then the grille just doesn't look as awesome. Looks cheap you know. Don't really have a lot of options though so i shouldn't b*tch too much haha sick ass rig BW!

I have some questions about the coil overs.

How much adjustment do you have? I need to put new shocks in my 2009 FD1 4x4 and I am thinking coil overs. The rear suspension is way too soft when we load up our bike rack and gear for camping, the rear end sags. I don't want to lift the vehicle, or drop it...I want stock height but the ability to firm up the rear when needed.

So can the Caliber coil overs be used to maintain about the stock height but firm up the back?

From my understanding no, They are much shorter than the stock patriot/compass shocks so are perfect for lowering, but not for keeping the same ride height.

I would LOVE a coil over system, if it was stock height or if I could use it and replace my spacer lift with the coilovers. It would mean more flex, more room for the tires I have, and better off road ride.

Yes I found some more info searching on the Compass forum.

This gives an idea of the difference.

There is a thread in the Suspension section that I am going to bump, I found some info that Mitsubishi Outlander coil overs might work and I don't think they have as mush drop to them.

^^ that should answer your question.
another small update, I installed an Optima Battery, its much much bigger than the stock battery, has 900 CCA, which meant i had to modify the battery tray and the air intake that went over the battery, so I've just ordered the K&N air intake with the air box.

He's running BC coilovers designed for the dodge caliber. We share the same platform as the caliber, so some suspension is similar. He's also got adjustable rear lower control arms.

Big_Willis has a sick build, but he only comes around every once in awhile so I figured I'd chime in.

Have you ever heard of Fifteen52? Their wheels are awesome and would be slick on a Pat like yours but theyre pricey as hell.
