A new set of JBL's

 

A new set of speakers. (not sure what brand, yet)

 

I have so many things I want to do I don't know what to do next! I do have a kenwood 800 watt 2 channel amp, so some subs would be a nice next move. I have a buddy that has 2 12" JBL's in his cherokee and when the bass is turned up it will make your heart skip beats! I believe that JBL is a very good brand. I would kind of like to do the nite-shades on my tails but I don't want any tickets...I have heard some good and bad about them. what do y'all think?

 

All upgrades on hold till I trade for an 11 or 12 model. Although I might buy a roof basket, should fit the new one too. I would prefer a basket that does not need cross bars.

already put a set of Yakima croassbars on and it, and those have proven to be useful in so many ways.

 

2" hitch and good winter floor mats. Then next summer, tint the front windows, get a shorter antenna and a good bike rack. After that... Maybe powdercoat factory wheels gunmetal or charcoal when it's due for new tires? That's a ways out. I'd like to do some sound system upgrades someday, but my wife's car is first in line for that. She's going on 5 years on the stock system, so I can wait a little while. Our bikes pretty much get all the mod money these days. She wants to paint hers plum crazy purple either this winter or next. That'll look pretty awesome.

I'm either buying a new set of flat black rims rims or getting the current ones profesionnaly painted. I found a wheel shop in the area that does the powder coat and bakes them. I have found that it is hard to find an exact match to my current 17's in black that is not glossy and does not look like it belongs on a import. Also a lot of black rims are now putting a bright red stripe around the lip which I don't like.

 

Winter floor mats for certain. (Especially if we receive as much snow as we did last winter)
When the stock Firestones wear out I'll go with the next size larger in an Outlined White Letter tire. (That would look good against a black Jeep)
Thinking about a slight lift. (Just thinking at this point.)
Also thinking about tinting the front windows.
Perhaps one of those cheesy interior wood grain kits they sell on ebay.
Otherwise just routine maintenance and care.

These are next on my to do list, besides the bug shield. I got side-swipe "hit on driver-side body" yesterday at 5:19AM on the Freeway at 65MPH by a idiot driver on a BMW "possibly buzzing" from a club a few hours earlier. No damage whatsoever to the Patriot on mine, but if I had these I could of damage him alright. Could of done some Mad Max damage.

All you 4 X 4 offroaders should look into these. They are almost indestructable and they look clean on the Patriot cannot even tell they are there. It's like armor for your Patriot. I like that alot.

Going to look into steel bumpers also.

 

Got a similar set of rock sliders on my Defender 90, they are brilliant, going to fit body sliders to it as well....unfortunately these would just look totally out of place on the Patriot!

Either downsize the system but make it better, or upgrade and make it bigger Not sure yet. Oh, how I need trunk space, but on the other side, I want a bigger sub.
Probably going to end up downsizing. Dropping to a nice 8" or maybe a single nice 12. Or 2 8"s, or who knows, maybe an 18. Oh the way my mind wanders.

I bought these and I love them. yes they are pricy but worth every penny IMO.

You literally just pull up hard, and it comes off.
Just don't hit yourself in the face on the pull up. Just sayin' it hurt.

 

I think this weekend I'm going to tint my tail lights.
