bolts tend to loosen and seals work them-self loose. It is also really hard on the alternator and electrical system pulling all that power. The patriot's alternator may be able to handle it as long as nothing else is drawing power at the same time.

Very nice!! I would change that stock head unit out for an aftermarket one. You'll be surprised at the difference that will make with your sound.

Yeah, well I've been saving for a h/u.. the thing is that I don't want to do one that looks out of place..

Ideally I'd like to go to jeep and order the dash piece for my car that is meant for the Pat with a navi, and stick a double din h/u in there.. I don't like the way dash kits look..

I think... sheet metal is not supposed to bend like that! And the rear wiper blade? Unreal.

I've seen oceans that don't have waves as big as the ones your sound system makes.

Biggest surprise of the video? Stock headunit.
haha, thanks! It looks much better in person, but as you guys know video cameras can't pick up all of the flex.. I plan on uploading videos as I upgrade the things in my car.. Do you guys have any head units that you would recommend?

I recommend Kenwood Excelon! :smiley_thumbs_up: I've never been disappointed by Kenwood, plus the Excelon's have the higher pre-out voltage too! :)

Yeah, I'm assuming that you're tuned very high then? I am tuned at 31 HZ, so 145 is pretty loud at that frequency.. All of my numbers have been with the windows up, and legal.. My car is MUCH louder with the doors open, but I've only ever competed in idbl peak..

How can I see your system? I'm never on this site, so I don't know my way around..

BALLIN system bro. What kinda exhaust set up you got?

#19 ·
I'm not sure on the brand, I can go outside an look in a few minutes.. It's basically a cat-back exhaust with a ricer muffler, hahahaha

It sounds great though, and even though not everyone likes how it looks, anything looks better than that god awful bus muffler it comes with, haha

I can post a video of the exhaust tomorrow if you'd like.. its very deep sounding..

but what frequency is that at? Lol.. My numbers are measured around 35 hz..

I could probably hit like a 147.5 or maybe more if I played a 50 HZ tone, but I much prefer playing the lows.. As I'm sure you know, It's much harder to get a good number at a low frequency, especially with 12's..

The Orion HCCA subs are beasts! I'm not surprised by those numbers.

I run a single 15 myself. I'm in the process of building a new enclosure for it now. It will be tuned to 32hz. I don't really care about numbers, but sq is everything! :)

yeah i'd like a vid of the exhaust.

Hoover: How is that PB sub and amp working out for you?

very nice actually. when i first had it installed i was in a temporary box. but now its in the permanent box and it sounds great. it has a great kick to it, but cant hit fast double bass you'd find in metal songs, or the super low bass in some rap. but it is a great starting system.
