This waiting I think is now starting to wear. My friends and my family keep asking "When is your Jeep going to be here?" The bad thing is, the other night I kept dreaming about it haha!! What is it "The Wait is Worth it!" I totally believe it. I'm now in Impatient mode, especially since it was ordered in April! Hmmm wonder who my first Passenger is going to be!!! hehe

Phil I went to the Dealership on April 7th placed the order, the following week, I think it was a Wednesday, maybe it was a couple weeks later, I called the dealer and was told the plant had recieved the order. I kept calling the dealer, they said they hadn't heard. At that time didn't know about calling about it, until I joined here last week. I called the Dealer last Wednesday and was told that my 2007 was bumped to a 2008. That's why my wait is longer. I'd love to have it now. The weather is nice, it's hot, and I wanna drive haha!!!

Im not so sure of that....I would guess you will get it August...I think they just stop for a change over from the 07-08...Dont make much sense why they bumped you...I ordered mine 4/28 (sat) order in to DC 4/30 (Mon)...I was never told of a possiblitity of being bumped to an 08...just that it would be 6-8wks....you ordered yours 3 weeks before me....seems like something went wrong somewhere...Its too bad you have to wait so long...Good Luck to you!

JohnShan-I had noticed that you had ordered yours at the end of April after I had ordered mine at the beginning. I don't know what or if anything happened. IF something did, my dealer never informed me. I have been in contact every 2 weeks with them. I didn't know about the bump until Memorial weekend. Dealer told me I have a good chance of being bumped. They wanted to talk to me about it. I said I didn't have a problem. I said if I didn't 2007 good. If I got bumped 2008 is great. I said I was indifferent.
canadianeh-I talked to the dealer about start up on the build. I had told the guy on the phone. "I heard a rumor that they plan to start building the 2008's around July 11th" He said "Yeah and we anticipate that you'll have it by the end of July" Somewhere on here someone posted they heard that they close down for 4-6 weeks to get ready to build the 2008's. Who knows! I don't really know!! Someone out there knows!
