I HOPE NO ORANGE PEEL.. SOUNDS LIKE THEY MIGHT NOT HAVE PUT THE NAV IN SO WE WILL SEE WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH THAT! SO SHOULD BE SITTING IN THE DRIVE BY SAT. I think sometimes the dealer will install the NAV from a seperate vehicle on the lot if the plant doesn't have access to the radio during production... Not sure - just a thought.

Congrats on what must be the fastest Patriot order yet!! Only 4 weeks from ordering to picking up on the lot. I'm sure alot of people waiting on this board are jealous. I know I am. It's been 7 weeks as of today and I'm in D1. Think it's the limited curse.

I picked it up last night to check it over and bring it home for my wife to see, she had to work late. Got to keep it over night to see if we really like it!! They didn't get the nav in. Somehow got messed up in the order! Go figure!!
So they will be getting the factory Nav. in before it is all through.. So by Sat. it should be sitting in the drive!! OH I have to say it is GREAT!!!!!

Well everyone I didn't get my nav. It did get messed up in the order and the dealer couldn't get it for the fac. price.. They wanted like 500 more for it for them to do it. I told them they were the ones that f-up. They said it wasn't there fault!! This was Friday. So we got pissed and walked out!! Well the wife and I had to do some things and we got home and we decided to go ahead and get it!!!! We were going to order a 08 but didn't want to wait again... So I think if we really want it that we would get installed later. So I called them back and said we would take it. Got there sat. to sign papers and they did take a little off because of the hassle. That was great. So we got it and we love it!!!epper:epper:epper: I will try to get pics ASAP!!

That kind of bites... they didn't offer to replace the stereo for a 6 disc or the standard stereo for you considering YOU ordered it? I can't believe they basically left it at buy it for an additional 500 or just don't buy it... thats pretty damn poor if you ask me.

I have concluded that you buy a Patriot in spite of the mfg/dealer service and not because of it.

Sorry for the snafu with the Nav system....a good dealer makes all the diffrence...I am lucky I have a great one...this is my third Jeep from them....I ended up buying the Limited on the lot even though it was my second choice on color. He had my first choice on order but said it was still in D status and would be at least 4 weeks.....plus the price was a little higher....so opted to just take the one he had....glad I did now hearing the delays on the Limiteds...

As for the Nav you may be happier with a garmin or TomTom I have Garmin Nuvi and love it. I can swap it from my Pat to the Ram to my work truck (iroically a Liberty) plus its got blue tooth hands free phone built in....so I got a Nav system in any car I drive for a fraction of the factory setup.
