Well weeks of extreme temps has finally killed something, my power steering. Here in north pole AK in the month of January i have seen -57F to pos 51. Now my power steering is leaking somewhere on the rack and pinion and i can not tell where because of the skid plate ohwell i will let the dealer worry about it. It has 1,800 miles on it and is a month old so its very much still under warranty.

Well the dealer charges 495 bucks for the Extreme winter package. Its a battery blanket with heating pad on the bottom and block heater and transmission heater and oil pan heater with 4way plug. No real crazy hoses and what not. I am lucky with my heated cloth seats though but even they are like sitting on bricks at -40 before they heat up enuff for the foam to be plyable.

Well they "fixed" my powersteering, apparently the powersteering hoses are nation wide back ordered. All they did was put a clamp around the leaky portion of the hose so we shall see how good it holds up.
