I would like to hear more about you Mopar EVS, did you install or did dealer, if you installed what was the degree of difficulty, any info you can provide is appreciated

Mine's been great so far. It seems that I have slight leak in a cv boot but the dealer noticed and will fix under warranty.

 

I know it says patriot, but compass- patriot, same thing, right?

14323 miles on the compass at one year. (I've only had the patriot 3 months)

zero problems (knock on wood)

The only accessory is a grip set for the interior.

 

most important, what kind of MPg are you seeing?

 

5K in one year!!???

Someone only has 5k in a whole year of driving? Mine has 13K on it after a year. Zero problems so far. Love this ride!

 

old gent yes I did install myself and it took 2 days to do, took my time to do it right and it was sort of easy. could not pass it up found it on the internet for $125 and it works great the only thing is it is very sensitive. and yes i only have 5,000 miles don't use it that much only on the weekends, live in nyc use train or bus to go to work.....

 

I'm 15 months into my ownership. Zero problems. Not one. No leak. No hood Flap.
It pays to be one of the first.

 

Just entering month 13 - - - 17k miles - - - leak from the upper brake light above the rear window - - - squeking front passenger door while moving. No other problems to report at this time. Knock on wood!

Dealer has repaired the leak, has yet to find the problem with the front door. No Mods - aftermarket iPod FM modulator. Everything else, stock.

Overall, I am happy with my riot. I almost wish I would have waited a few years for all the kinks to get worked out. But, it pays to have it under warranty, so I can't complain too much.

Since 4/2/07 21,170 as of yesterday afternoon, due to hit 40K by this time next year.

Had the passenger side seatbelt retractor and TSB for 4 speakers replaced. Loose interior panel on the drivers door and the TSB for the CVT repaired.

Just noticed the hood starting to rub on the front left corner of the fender.

I'm happy, especially considering it's a 1st year car. My Mom and Dad had an 04 RX-8 and an 05 Equinox and the Patriot could be considered trouble free compared to all the warranty work those two racked up.
