well, the last thing i expected to add to the patriot is being done as we speak.

i miss my bass:( so.....

1 mtx jackhammer amp.
1 12" mtx jackhammer sub.
1 12" sealed enclosure.

and, depending on the outcome, maybe some upgraded 6x9's for the front.

circuit city is doing the install.

(have trusted friends there).

guess you can't take $ with you, so might as well enjoy some.

we both agreed that 2 12's would be overkill.

should have it back this evening.

my 10 inch mtx is alomost overkill lol.

the whole jeep rattles. the roof vibrates, literally it does. if i push my hand to it, itll stop a little. the whole patriot could use some dynamat, especially on the roof, trunk, and doors.

but a 12 inch mtx, is awesome. if your getting the 6x9s swapped, put some dynamat in there

Just upgrading the deck and speakers in mine made the whole thing rattle. I even dynamat'd the doors and they still make all kinds of racket. Doing the license plate fixed the rear but there is just something with the internals of the doors that seem to make it virtually impossible to eliminate all of the rattles. I even took them all apart and mat'd the internals and the rears STILL rattle. I just gave up and lowered the bass a little. I can't even imagine what a sub would do. I bet the roof would flex like a beast since just barely touching it makes it push in as is.

With 1 15" DVC I'm constantly turning the bass down. I love it though!!!:smiley_thumbs_up: I may try an 18" sub next!! :pepper::smiley_thumbs_up:

done deal.
very pleased.
clean install.

now onto the goods:

mtx jh 202 amp.
mtx jh4512 sub.
12" sealed box.

lost some cargo space, but still useable.
wish i could post pics, but no dc at this time.

kept the factory 6x9's.
blends in perfect, so the installer left well enough alone.

$425 out the door.

not bad for a great upgrade.

nice, how many watts is it pushing, and how many channel is the amp or is it mono
