It's pretty common. Mine Squeeks with as little as a pizza box on it. Do a search there are a few threads on it. I believe taking it to the dealer will result in it being fixed.

I also have a constantly relocking front seat. Every 15-20 min one side will slide and lock like it wasn't before.

 

I'm having the same problem and so is my brothers 08 compass....I mentionned it to the dealer a couple of times but they can't seem to find the problem...anyone els having this problem ?

 

Sounds like the dealer doesnt read tsb's

I had a clicking sound coming from my driver's seat but I sprayed some silicone on the mating surfaces for the plastic adjustment handles mechanism down near the floor. That cleared it up.

I just had my seat fixed for the same problem. The dealer had my riot there all day for for diagnostic. The told me that the squeek was coming from the seat belt reciever. The dealer ordered the part and two weeks later it was replaced, squeek is now gone!! So you guys might want to see if thats your problem too. Hope this helps!!!

 

My '09 passenger seat squeaks when occupied as well. Perhaps I can eliminate the "all day" diagnostic and just get them to order the part. Good info, thanks. Cheers.

i think my center counsel is also squeeking

 

I'm getting a squeak from the drivers side. I thought it was from the door but maybe its something else, it isn't nearly as bad when my wife drives. Don't know how that would effect the door.

Mine squeeks but its from the adjustment handle of the passenger seat, it bounces up and down freely. Maybe I should take it in.

 

If you have the fold down front passenger seat, the seat belt receiver will scratch against a bolt on the side of the seat only when it is occupied. My youngest daughter isolated the problem for me after months of me trying to do so.
