Took my brank new 2010 , patriot 4x4 to car wash yesterday.. when I came out and hit the gas .. I saw that smoke coming out of the hood in front ( radiator ) for about 30 seconds and it went away as I drove. Did anyone have similar experience ?

Hope so. It's more likely, though I certainly couldn't rule out smoke from here... If you're actually concerned, it's worth it to have it checked out - even just a maintenance check would probably reveal anything sinister. And you'd feel better afterward, if a little poorer.
This is simply water hitting the hot radiator or engine block and evaporating. No need to worry IMO. It's happened to me when I have taken large puddles for fun in rainy FLA.
Varmaji, that is defanately steam. It happens to me all the time when I wash mine. Not sure where you live, however I live in a colder area so I see it a lot.
I live in NY and it has been really cold here for the last few days..
I am going to believe that, it is just steam and not a serious problem..
Thank you all for the replies.
Pat drives great in the snow , though.
