Anyone have there experience with the 2017 model? My girlfriend is afraid for the fact that there could be potential transmission issues or with it breaking down. It's the sport 5 speed manual that we're interested in. Any thoughts? Do you like your Jeep Patriot? Any issues mechanically?

We bought a 2008 Patriot 4X4 with the 5 speed manual and put 260k KM on it before trading it in on our present 2015 Patriot with the 6 speed autotech tranny. We had excellent results with both vehicles. I hope our 2015 lasts forever because I am not too impressed with Fiat and the newer Jeep products.
