Replacing Rear Bumper Lower Fascia

Hey, my mother owns a Jeep Patriot and I'm trying to fix the lower fascia (lower plastic cover) on her jeep. The original was torn with pieces missing due to the collision, but the damage was mostly cosmetic.

I have the whole bumper off, and now I'm trying to remove the lower piece from the upper piece, but there are pins that I have no clue how to remove that are blocking my way! Any clue how to remove these? Hopefully you'll be able to see the pictures!

Those are rivets. Drill the center out and they will fall off, then put a few bolts in their place when you stick the new fascia on.

I did the same when I replaced my front fascia for tow hook holes

Thank you! This is what I was looking for. Now I need to get my hands on a drill, I don't think my dremel is powerful enough to get through. Can I ask what you used to replace the rivets when you were putting it back together?

For each hole I used a 1/4" bolt with 2 washers and a nylon locknut so it would stay in place.
The bolts were probably 1/2" to 1" long. I dont recall that exactly. Most likely only 1/2" long though

He recommended small bolts in his post. You could also use properly sized Pop Rivets, but you would have to buy the tool. Probably have to use a backup washer on the expanding side of the rivet.
