I purchased my 2011 Patriot a couple weeks ago and unfortunately a rock hit the windshield on the highway and I had to get it replaced. The replacement is Mopar, but it has some small, see-through, T-shaped spots on the black trim at the bottom that I don't recall seeing these on the factory windshield. They are definitely "intentional" and seem to almost line up with the wipers. Is this normal? They don't look great...

while driving on the hwy (after offroading) a rock cracked mine too! how much did you have to pay to have it replaced?

Good to know its like that on the factory glass as well. Thanks for the info.

It cost $306 or something right around there. Not too bad, but it was under my deductible so I had to pay out of pocket.
