Good point. I have the Sat radio with the antenna on the roof in the back and had the rear water leak. When I brought my Pat in to have the leak fixed they found the water coming in from around the rear window washer tube. They put some sealant around it and that was almost two years ago. not a single problem yet.

 

I have a 2007 with the sat radio and I have been blessed with no leaks whatsoever. Balloonman is right. I believe the rear leak problem has been isolated to the window washer tube seal. There may be some cases where water closer to the front has made its way to the rear and manifested itself at the rear light.

 

I am wondering if that seal is being affected by heat or not. You guys with colder climates and all. But I may be wrong. I don't recall but I believe it was Oktazcat who had a similar issue but she is in warmer climate...

 

Cool, I was curious and if it has been isolated to the rear washer tube then if I ever have the issue I can hopefully point them in the right direction.

 

My 2007 Pat was leaking water through the removable flashlight mount Monday morning (no sat radio). The dealer sealed the window washer tube grommet with silicone today; it's about to rain right now so I'll find out if that's the source of leakage in the morning.
