The rear bumper fascia has become a little loose. How can I tighten it?
In fact, I see some fasteners underneath but you cannot tighten the screws (even I think they're not screws)

Thanks for your help...

pepe, you should be able to get to the fasteners from under the trunk floor.

When inspecting my repaired bumper, I noticed that mine was loose as well. I questioned the guy at the shop and he showed me how exactly they installed it and how that was how it is to be installed. It seemed right. I guess it is just how the bumper is to be installed. Seems cheap, but it isn't going to fall off, not with all the clips and fasteners connecting it. I never messed with the bumper before my accident, so I don't know if it was loose before or not. The guy also said that I should probably not step on the top of it, although it has a steel reinforcement beneath the bumper, it just didn't seem sturdy to him.

Bumper fascia cheap shoddy design. Tabs crack with age.

The rear bumper fascia is supported from underneath by four thin tabs that are bent back to the metal bumper and attached with plastic push pins. I have never scraped the rear bumper on my 07 Patriot, backed into anything, or placed any weight on the fascia, yet all these tabs have cracked and separated, leaving the fascia unsupported. I'll have to replace the entire rear bumper fascia, and then how long will it last? As a mechanical designer and engineering tech, I find this to be one of the crappiest designs I have ever seen.

Perhaps it is designed that way so it can move free when going over bumpers, etc.
i thought rear noise came from the loose bumper, but as per some of you say, it might be the muffler...

My 2007 FDI rear bumper is also loose at the bottom... Never dragged it or stepped on it....

I can feel broken clips.
