How do I keep the lighter on for charging my phone while the car is off. I hate not being able to charge it while not having the car on. And how do you keep the radio on without the keys in the ignition. I had a couple of Audi's before and you can turn the radio on without the keys as long as the car is unlocked. Now with the flip down speakers I have to keep the keys in? How can I change this or can I?

I don't know the exact details, but I'm sure its possible you will probably have to rewire things around the relay that turns the power off. I am going to look into the lighter thing... it drives me nuts, my old liberty was always on. I don't know why jeep decided to change this in the Patriot. When I get more info, I'll share
