Plastic molding around seat popped out

Last night I as I went to sit in the driver side seat that plastic molding underneith the seat (it's about 2 inches high by 15inches wide) just poped right off - apparently whatever clip on the inside holds it broke it - I've not had a chance to take a good look at it. It's just flaps out now when I sit.. held on by the back end which has the seat belt going through it.

anybody else?

I'm 6'2, 240 and I'm generally not gentle.

It's likely covered in my warrantee, but not sure when I will take it in. If it wasn't that the seat belt goes through it, I would just remove it.

There seem to be a several small plastic parts around the seats, likely to keep little kids from losing a finger or to hide moving parts that I don't think stand a long term chance of surviving in the Pat.

I bought my Pat with vinyl seats and manual windows because frankly I wanted to treat it like a jeep. Still impressed with the Pat, best value for the money and when gas was at $4/gallon I felt it was brilliant move.

I just noticed few days back that mine was not attached properly. I tried to put it back on, but something seems to be broken... this is on the drivers side, other side seems to be fine so far. Anyone tried warranty replacement yet?

I took the the two plastic wedges that cover the front seat joints out.. they kept popping up.

I was going to take the car in the dealer for an oil change and ask them to fix this other piece this weekend but never did, but I just know it's going to bust again anyways.

Thanks.

So Annoying

I catch the leg of my pants on that strip almost every time I get out of the jeep. I have the manual seats and when I drive it goes allllll the way back. No problems for the wife who is much shorter than me. I guess I just have to be a little more carefull but it is really a poor design.
