I for one like the EURO front bumper but no tow hooks on that bumper. also like the euro mandatory side turn signals on the front 1/4 panels.

Looks good and so does the a200 but the colours look a little pale.

Ooh. Very nice photos!

I don't. Looks too damn fat. :( And fixed tow hooks are a good thing!

Stupid friggin' nanny state wanker legislators...

Yep pale colors but that's on purpose. It's winter here and it was cloudy which didn't give me much color to play with so I removed all the colors except orange and red to emphasize the turn signals and the break lights. I also wanted i to look truly black without the blue reflections that was in it originally.

you've got one great looking beast, did you paint the muffler black yet? it looks 1000x better in black, trust me,just get some heat resistant [black exhaust manifold paint] spraypaint and you'll witness a magic in esthetical beauty

I'd love to see a picture of the engine (since we do not have the CRD in the U.S.).

Congrats from across the pond, she looks great!

^^ Well that is pretty worthless. Why do all manufacturers feel compelled to bolt a giant sheet of plastic on top of the engine?

It says: DONT TOUCH! Hehe...

I think it is sound insulation and it maybe looks better when you pop the hood. And besides, a four pot diesel isnt very exciting to look at. (Or drive...?)

This weekend we drove up to Hardangervidda platau for some snowkiting and I hade the opportunity to really max out the abilities of my CRD Patriot. We drove 600 kilometers in a blizzard and had -25 Celcius (-13F) in the morning with a cold engine. The Pat handled it just great except that it was a bit difficult to start until I let it heat up the diesel a little longer.

Some pics...
The reflection of my brother and the hotel in the rear window.

The rims are called Ace Tyson and I paid 1168 € including 17" Hankook tires. This roadtrip put on 1200km to the meter. I don't know for sure but I'm probably on 2500km something already.

I still havn't seen a single Patriot on the road!?

Gunyan, thanks for the info. How did the Patriot perform on snow? I've never taken it anywhere worse than decent trails. And in Europe you can't buy the Freedom Drive II (trail rated) version.

Yeah, the Patriot is such an exclusive car. I've only seen 3 apart from mine in 4 months. I think Chrysler doesn't realize that they could have a winner for the European SUV market if they did some marketing of this model. And I think they should bring the price down a bit and improve the interior design.

The Pat handled the snow very well. On the way up to Oslo from Gothenburg i put the cruise control on 100-110km/h with an inch of snow on the highway. On the smaller and curvier roads I could still keep a relatively high speed. We drove the 600km on 8hours. In normal driving conditions we usually do it in 7 hours. I was tempted to make the Pat skid in the corners to see how it would handle but it was actually a lot harder than expected.

On the way back to Sweden the roads were really icy with deep wheel tracks. I was driving straight in 60km/h and must have accidently steered out of the tracks because all of a sudden the rear kicked out maybe 30 degrees. I compensated with the steering wheel and was able to get the car back in control and down in the tracks again without a problem but I think my heart stopped for a while... :) I drive on unstudded winter tires and they don't perform as good as studded tires on ice so I'm gonna blame the tires on this :) Stay on your guard when driving in ice wheel tracks!
