I was cleaning up some directories on my web account, and came across some photos I had taken in January 1995 of my brand new Cherokee Country - my first Jeep. My wife and I took it out for a snowy drive on the day we picked it up, and stopped by the river in town to take some shots.
I ordered it from the factory with a 5-speed, Command-Trac, and the green with silver trim. At the time, that color combo was rare, most of the Country's I saw had gold trim. Damn, I miss that Jeep!
The photos are small: that was back in the days of shooting on film, then using a huge flatbed scanner to get it on the computer. I didn't know what I was doing back then (I don't think many people really did), so they're low-res and in .gif format! On a 640x480 computer display, they nearly filled the screen! I need to find those photos and scan them in again. But that would mean having to get off the couch!
Anyhow, enjoy the photos!
January 1995: Wow - I forgot how nice and shiny it was!
I have no idea what I was thinking here
Posing again. Glad I didn't pursue that modeling career!
