Opinions??, I photoshoped my former Liberty's light bar onto the Riot. I personally like it. If I can come accross one at a local junkyard for a good price I may try to mount it

I really don't know, I need to find a junk yard with a totaled Renegade and take some measurements. Eyeballing it, it looks close

Looks very nice! Hope it'll fit.

They look nice, but when would you use it? In CA, that would be road-illegal. And, if I'm off road at night, I won't be going so fast as the std lights would work. After all, the M38 doesn't have these extra lights and it does off road just fine--see War, Korean 1950-53, DMZ.

I am not 100% certain but I though a while back someone else had bought a light bar from a renegade....dont know of the outcome??? Maybe check forums.

Good luck - I've been trying to find one in a boneyard for a while now to see how feasible it might be - I don't have the disposable income to just buy the kit from Mopar - I've been wondering if I could put one on my Compass Rallye for a while - I'll be interested to see what you find out.

Seems like its a pretty straight forward install.

Read through those links, while they are specific to KJs and not MKs, should still be applicable to install on the roof, based on the spacing and such of the holes I think it will fit on the Pat, I'm not sure about the angle/curve on the front. You will have to cut a hole for the electronics and run to the fuse but it should be no big deal. I'd fuse where the front bumper running lights are supposed to be done.

Installation itself is quite straight forward, but I am more worried about would the light bar curve fit the Patriot's roof curve. I measured the width and it is OK. Only curves of the bar and the roof are questionable.

I would just make a cardboard template of the roof curve of the Patriot (or Compass) and then trim the Libby's light to fit

Hope the original picture was photoshopped for more than lights

If your riot was sitting on lake ice you are braver than I am. Been there done that and watched a pick up truck sink majestically on some rotten ice.

That's a Chrysler photoshoot spot. lol -- it's a soaking-wet parking lot, not ice. :D
They use that space a lot.. and for a long time; at least since '97 or so..

I don't think they're common enough to see if they'll fit. You could probably stop by a dealer to see if they have the part, and if they do, see if they'll "mock it up" for you; just to see if the part would fit the curve.
