Well i don´t like it but maybe someone find this interesting:

I´m not a fan of such flat tires and lowering an SUV sounds contraproductive for me. But it might be interesting for some urban guys/gals.

Yech. It looks like it is trying hard to be a series 1 XB. They should not have wasted the time doing this to a Patriot. The alloys might look good on a lowered Compass Rally however...

i like it lol,

If they want to lower it they need to do it right, IMO this wasn't done right, perhaps there just aren't any other lowering springs out yet, but it would look nicer with another 3" of drop, to fill the wheel wells, and visually touch the top tires to the top of the wheel wells...

Lowered Pat on 20s

I posted this pic on an old thread a while ago. Its not my Pat but when I inquired about wheels for them, the dealer sent me this to show me how they looked with 20s and obviously lowered a fair bit. Not my favorite choice of wheel but its an interesting look. Needs Tint!!

now that one looks sharp i think to do somethin like that how much am i looking at?? or around about estimate anyways

If anyone would ask me i would say that lowering a Patriot should be verboten!

Precisely! The Jeep engineers spent a lot of time giving it as much height as reasonably feasible.

Looks to me like the only thing you will get out of a configuration like that is renal collapse.
:p

Well, although I would never do it to mine, I think those two lowered Patriots look very cool, and I like that some owners take the time to mod their cars. Mine's just a well cared-for Patriot, but standard-looking in every respect. I liked the white one better, and both of them need tinted windows.

Hmm. The "street rocket" look with lowered body and flat tires can look pretty cool on the right car and done right. But a Patriot? Just looks silly to me... The Patriot simply isn't designed to look "cool" or "like a race car". Have to agree with OnRoad that a Compass would probably be a better platform for this kind of modifications. Or, even better, the Caliber...

How Un-Patriotic

Not my cup of tea, it just looks so un-Jeeply. I don't think Jeep ever envisioned the Patriot as a boulevard cruiser, maybe the Compass, that's why they offer the Rallye package. Have fun, spend money, but remember your Jeep roots.

i have always been a lowered car guy but honestly i think the compass looks a lot better lowered. The patriot just doesnt look right being lowered. IMO lowering a patriot is Kinda like lowering a pickup truck, absolutely pointless.

I WILL POST PICS OF MY PATRIOT WHEN I UPLOAD THEM AND IT QUITS RAINING IN WVA. RAINING ALOT LATELY. MY PATRIOT IS ON 20'S BUT NOT LOWERED BECAUSE THE SPRINGS ARE ON BACKORDER AND I THINK IT WILL SURPRISE PEOPLE HOW WELL IT LOOKS. ALSO I TINTED THE WINDOWS LAST WEEK WHICH REALLY SETS IT OFF.

hey bjo4life you can put 20's on your car do a search on any wheel website to narrow down the wheels that you want. also as for springs h r springs makes a lowering kit 1.5 front/1.4 rear depending on engine size. that are currently on backorder right now i ordered mine thru autosportstyle.com , or you can order them thru allsprings.com , try victoriatireonline.com they have the best prices around for wheel and tire packages that i found but i have bought 3 sets of rims from them and have had excellent transactions each time.

would springs for a Dodge Caliber or Jeep Compass work for the Patriot? Eibach makes springs for them and H&R has springs for the Caliber that aren't backordered.

i have asked same question and i get the same answer nobody know so i will be safe and wait for the correct springs to be off of backorder.
