Hi everyone. I just purchased my 2007 Jeep Patriot 4x4. It is equipped with the 2.4L engine and CVT with opt DAW off road crawl ratio. I need any advice possible because my Patriot will not shift gears. It has a check engine light with codes P0730 and P0700. It has normal engine power and isnt sluggish at all. It just will not change to a higher ratio and cannot be driven faster than 5-10mph because the engine just keeps reving with no gear changes from the CVT. Any advice is appreciated

DId you Google the codes?

Best case scenario- low or dirty CVT fluid or a plugged filter.

Worst case- internal hydraulic or mechanical failure or TCM failure.

Did you ever resolve this issue? Have same issue and need to know what was replaced to correct issue.
